If you are going to whistle blow, do it BIG TIME - don’t try working “up the change” or internally, because you’ll be stamped out like a bug.
For example, if this guy had gone to the media and said something like to them “I read some of the 6,000 E-Mails, and you wouldn’t believe what’s on them” - the media would have ignored him. Or if he tried going to an “ombudsman” or ethics department in the government, he likely would have been ratted out before he could cause damage.
But do the damage FIRST, and they’re beat.
