And in the interim? All those people losing coverage? What do we tell them?

We tell them they are losing Obamacare insurance, not losing access to medical care. We tell them to go to the local medical clinic (we have "Minute Clinic" for about $50) or emergency room if necessary, or to go on Medicaid if eligible. We tell them to do the same things they did before this terrible law was passed. We tell them those who lost insurance are far more likely to regain medical insurance once this terrible law is repealed and insurance can cover what we want instead of what liberals demand. If they don't like that answer, they are never going to contribute to society or vote republican anyways.

If I could choose my own insurance, it would cover only major medical - catastrophic coverage. I'd rather pay for screenings myself without the paperwork on my doctor's part. I'd rather pay for minor glitches myself, again without the paperwork. My auto insurance doesn't cover gasoline, oil changes, or even new tires. My homeowner's insurance doesn't cover my electric bill. Why should my medical insurance be required, under Obama's orders, to cover the relatively minor costs routine checkups and (as if I would ever want it) abortion? Obamacare is a bad law and needs to die.

Huh? We haven’t seemed to give a shit about the millions of people who lost their coverage because of Obamacare, most of whom were paying their own way, by the way.

Gopes won’t allow Obamacare to be killed. One way or another they will either pass legislation to get around the expected SCOTUS decision or they will stay silent when Hussein changes a couple of words in the law and reinstates and expands the subsidies.

Even if SCOTUS rules for Obamacare, it has entered actuarial death spiral. Only the GOPe can save it now,

Politico has been spinning this bullshit for weeks, now.

Trying to manufacture the Republican blame for Obama’s Medical Abortion.

Big biz wants socialized medicine and the kenyan gets all the heat for installing it. A perfect deal from the GOP perspective. As we currently see on Obamatrade, the GOP has no interest in defending our rights.

And the GOP will because that’s what the big donors want.

People are so focused on Obamacare, they forget this case is about a broader issue. That is, can the president or the IRS or any other federal agency ignore plain language in a law and fashion the meaning to their own political ends. At the time Ocare was written, the phrase “exchanges established by the states” was put in the law for a reason, by the democrats. It didn’t work out the way they expected so they want to treat it like the phrase was never enacted. But it was. If a law has faulty provisions, simply go back to congress and ask that the law be changed. But the democrats don’t want to do that, they know the whole law would be up for change. Instead, they and the IRS ignore plain language and subsidize people with no basis in the plain text. So this is a democrat problem/issue.

Someone needs to Remind McConnell, John Cornyn and John Boehner what they pledged back in Sept. and October of 14 if they were given both Houses of Congress.

Mitch?

Mitch?

MITCH?

Never underestimate the ability of the GOP to change a stunning victory into a panicked rout.

““Things can’t be turned on a dime,” said Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn of Texas. “People can run for president, but we’ve actually got to solve a problem.””

Great. Every GOPe solution involves backing Obama’s fascist takeover.

“It is more than amusing to see the how the liberal rags are so ‘worried’ over how Republicans will deal with Obamacare while not recounting the fact that this entire debacle from the get go is 100% the fault of liberals.”

The liberals are trying to deflect blame from themselves. Unfortunately the Republicans are happy to take it on.

Wuote: “This is liberal spin because the know the decision has come down and that the Administration has lost.”

I have to agree with those who believe otherwise. Someone from the right side will always save Obamacare and any other overreach of government authority. It is the era we are in. Roberts or whoever is willing to tie themselves into whatever pretzel needed in order to rescue what they see as highly political laws.

They lack courage and, instead, want to pass this off to congress to fix. Oh, it sounds great. Hey, we the Supreme Court did not make this political mess, you go and fix it where it belongs, in Congress. But unfortunately, Roberts is willing to ignore the Constitution and simple logic in order to exercise his policy. At the end of the day, like it or not, politically involved or not, a bad law is a bad law. Roberts would do well to remember that before he finds himself mentioned in the same breath as Tawney.

“The Dems own it lock, stock, and barrel.”

You would think. But since the Republican response is not to say it was a poorly thought out law and natural consequences will follow - and are already vilifying the one candidate talking about repealing it - they will be accepting the blame once again.
