Rachel Dolezal, the former head of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP, sued Howard University after she received her graduate degree there, claiming the historically black college had discriminated against her because she was white.

[Snip]

WTTG reported that Dolezal filed her lawsuit against Howard in 2002, asking for damages due to "medical and emotional distress."

Dolezal, who then went by her married name, Rachel Moore, claimed the university blocked her appointment as a teaching assistant, failed to hire her as an art teacher upon graduation and removed some of her pieces from a student art exhibition in favor of works by African-American students. In 2005, the D.C. appeals court upheld a lower court's ruling throwing out the lawsuit and Dolezal was ordered to pay the university $2,700 to cover the costs of the lawsuit.

She may be white but her thought process was black.

Maybe she found a way to put one over on the entire system. If this one one elaborate James O’Keefe style troll operation, she would be a hero.

She had to file the suit with a sworn statement of facts. Did she claim she was black under oath? Criminal

I think the core issue is that of aggrieved victim - regardless of which color she has chosen to be at any particular time.

Okeefe at least skewers intentionally to illustrate a point.

This is one angry girl and Im curious to know what the psychological trigger was

Of course, at the root of the Howard University law suit is the incontestable truth that Howard is a racist institution

What’s her name learned that she would be better off as a black person because as an inferior female white person she wasn’t up to snuff. After all, to get a graduate degree she had to go to Howard

Reverse discrimination appears to be the trigger.

Reverse psychology is a technique involving the advocacy of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what actually is desired: the opposite of what is suggested.

My guess is she sees blacks as dumb and inferior to herself therefore she knew she could get over on them without much of a problem. She pulled off quite a scam while it lasted. Now she can make some money hitting the talk show route as a victim, but not sure of what.

Is the NAACP so racist that a white woman can’t hold a position there?

So no one at the Spokane NAACP could google her unusual name and find out about her past litigation? I guess the C doesn’t stand for “Computer.”

And for all of the local, state, and federal forms that she completed and had sworn and signed that her race was Black, and receiving financial or other benefit, she will not be prosecuted criminally for doing so.

I like it.

If she were smart, that would be her only way out, and even if she couldn't carry it off, the pandemonium would be delicious to watch.

Well, she ISN'T smart, but...I can see the press conference...

"Thank you for coming here today. I have been working in the shadows for years in an effort to highlight the insanity of our racial quotas and preference systems. I could not tell my family, colleagues, or friends what I was doing, and I had to spend many years cultivating this role. It has been long, lonely work, but it has come to fruition in the last week. We have spent more than half a century and billions of dollars to institutionalize reverse racism, which has resulted in people of color being sold into slavery by the Democratic Party, much as they were in the days of their forefathers. It is the slavery of stunted expectations, affirmative action quotas, and racial gerrymandering of schools, industry, and people's lives..."

The last seconds of her 15 minutes of fame are ticking away. She obviously needs serious counseling.
