Are you seeing much open carry? We have open carry in my state but you rarely see it. Most still conceal carry - also legal. Open carry tends to draw one a lot of unwanted attention.

Michigan has always had open carry, constitutionally speaking. Not many knew or practiced it until the concelled carry law relaxed. Now we have had a smattering of incedents where the police have harassed citizens legally carrying and gotten spanked. We are picking up momentum for constitional carry.
