Sending money to politicians is rare for me too, but I did actually send some to Ben Carson a few days ago.

The thing that's good IMO about supporting "second-tier" candidates despite their low chance for actually winning, is the fact that they can still influence other candidates and eventually sway them using their promise to throw their support their way or not.

That’s exactly right...We can easily use Trump to get the message out others might not say with such passion..
