I think she took the "self hating white person" narrative a step farther and wanted to be the victim of white people abuse. And when she wasn't treated badly, she had to invent it to further her own warped sense of justice and sent hate mail to herself! Of course she could change her hair at any time and be white again, in case she needed to sue someone...
I'm still amazed though, that anyone would defend her. Imagine being a co-worker or friend and recalling a private conversation where you complained about some white devil and now know she is actually white.
I'm defending her, but only because her timing (right after Jenner!) was
spot on. IRL I would run a mile to avoid her, but her discomfiture of the Libs endears her to me.
