Hamas Considering 5-Year Truce for Floating Seaport

Qatar, Turkey and Hamas like the idea. Has anyone asked Israel?

Hamas is apparently feeling the pressure from all sides and is now considering options that would allow them to rebuild both their economy and terror infrastructure unhindered.

Arab media reported on Monday evening that Hamas is considering adopting a Qatar ceasefire proposal, with Turkey’s approval, for a 5-year truce with Israel. According to the proposal, Hamas gets an offshore floating seaport for Gaza, in exchange for the ceasefire.

A senior Hamas terrorist, Musa Abu Marzouk, is in Qatar talking with international mediators about the idea.

In March, Abu Marzouk rejected the idea.

The floating seaport would be run by Israel and an unnamed third party, and in exchange there would be a 5-year ceasefire with the option for an extension.

Hamas may be worried about the advances being made by the Salafist ISIS/Gaza terror group who are making Hamas look bad internally, as well as the self-imposed poor economic condition resulting from Gaza not giving up on terrorism. Israel also holds Hamas accountable for all the breakaway terror group within Gaza.

While Hamas is considering the Qatar deal that Turkey approves, there’s no indication that Israel has any part of it.

Nah, Israel won’t agree! Now, if Hamas would make it a 7-year truce...

In less then five years all these meddlers could move the Hamas terrorist population out of Israel including emptying the gaza snake pit completely. Let them live in Turkey and the other Moslem places.

Like Germany asking for a ceasefire so they can finish up the Peenemünde facility.

A floating seaport to bring in arms and ammunition, missiles, and lots of other lethal items to be used to attack Israel. Yes, I am certain the Israelis will buy into this.

With the Muslim would-be dictator, Erdogan, whom we know to be an anti-Israel nutcase, it looks like we can add Qatar to that list.

What’s the point of negotiating truces with people who don’t recognize your right to exist? WTF?

Oddly enough, most sane people think that the
reward for a peace agreement would be peace.

Palestinians, not so much.
