What was the crime?
Normally a covert LE bust involves a crime of some sort. Not there to shoot down a fight.
Were they dealing drugs, smuggling drugs, or involved in prostitution out there on the tarmac? If no then the cops were out of line.
In America you have to actually do and get caught in a crime to be busted. This was not that.
Fighting in front of a bunch of cops is beyond regular stupid. It’s felony stupid, especially with a firearm, and that’s why I don’t buy the LE angle on what happened there.
I think an undercover plant made sure a fight broke out so there could be this mass arrest and confiscation to see what shakes out. I bet the LE involved are red in the face because they didn’t find a half ton of some drug or evidence of wrongdoing.
This has to be the most unprofessional example of police work ever. Maybe even worse than Waco I.
No argument there, it does seem hinky. All I’m saying is that any one who purports to be a supporter of a crime organization is not one to pin a halo on. His testimony should be treated by any LEO as the same from any hood rat who “supports” his local street gang; with a grain of salt. It is interesting that this guy was a vice detective and is now a “supporter” of one of the more notorious meth dealing gangs in Texas.
Here no buildings were burned down, No children were burned alive. Somewhere, Hillary Clinton and Janet Reno are smiling on how well the coverup story was believed by the general public. And somewhere deep in the bowels of hell Josef Gerbles is smiling on how well his slogan of “If you shout a lie loud enough and often enough, people will believe it.” This incident amply illustrates that concept.
