Eleven people is more than enough to have provided a much better ending to this story. I think many people have just become passive lumps willing to accept whatever fate deals them. If I’m going anyway, I’m going to do my very best to make sure you go with me!
Blame it directly on the media’s definition of the gun being evil, not the person wielding the weapon.
They have convinced most of the US that once the gun jumps out you might as well lay down and die, because you don’t stand a chance.
If properly taught, the gun is a tool, no different than a hammer. How many would have sat waited to beaten to death with a hammer.
