Police are searching for the suspect, who is described as a white male, 21 years old, slender/small build, grey sweat shirt, blue jeans and clean shaven. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

It’s simply UNCANNY how they knew his age even before they knew his identity.
We humans are problem solvers. Look at our love of puzzles and games.
When something horrible like this happens, one of our first instincts is to try and figure out why it happened. We want to solve the puzzle.
We don’t have all the pieces of the puzzle. It’s impossible to solve the puzzle now. It may be impossible to ever solve this puzzle.

Or they had a clear face image from inside the church, and facial recognition ID-ed him from one of his mug shots. FBI was working the case from early on, and they have this capability.
Authorities never release all the info they have, just enough to point in the right direction.

Totally agree. The victim can't be deader than dead in a "hate crime;" ergo, any first-degree murder is as egregious as any other.
