LOL! No, no big shot!

When I got the assignment to do those SI projects, at first I was like, who wants to go there?

Once I got to know my way around, I really enjoyed it.

The view of the Verranzano Narrows and the bridge from the road in front of St. John’s is breathtaking.

Belmar is still a beach party town.

Raised my family in Toms River—still a great family town—close to Barnegat Bay, the Toms River and the ocean.

Went to Seaside Heights for the boardwalk, but loved the beaches at Ortley Beach, Lavallette and Island Beach State Park. They are still rebuilding from Sandy.

Glad to hear that your time on FR is helpful. It is a great source for knowledge— name a topic, and someone here is an expert.

Although you have gone through a tough time, you seem like the kind of person who will persevere and overcome it.

Toms River is really nice. Not familiar with the other beaches. Sandy was a nightmare. Though high on a hill, I was driving a cab for a few extra bucks and saw the devastation. I know NJ got rocked too. And then a fire at one of the beach boardwalks for goodness sakes!!

Eh, I look at it this way. I didn’t die and I wont kill myself so I have to make the best of it :)

as a child raised in the southern Tier of NYS, we went on vacation to Seaside Heights many times...often we merely rented a room....all 8 or 9 of us....we had a ball!

the rich kids all went to Wildwood....
