I remember all of this and I was impressed with Jeb’s interference, but I also remember thinking it was a political move .... and my feelings were (for me) justified when he didn’t call out the NG ala Gov Wallace of years ago who took a principled stand.

He stood with her until he was required to actually do something to save her life. Then he got lost in the weeds.

Standing by her would’ve been being gutsy and sending the police in there to put her somewhere where she was given a chance at survival. He didn’t take the risk when it mattered. Sorry, Jeb, you can’t put lipstick on that pig of a decision.

Yeah Jeb also gave Hillary Clinton an award for great service to her nation when she QUIT Secretary of State..... the quitter.
