How many sizes larger waistband do you need to wear for IWB carry?
1 inch?
I wear a 36’ without, 38’ with. So it’s about 1 size larger.
They say 2 inches but if I go up two inches I can barely keep my pants up. I wear my 1911 IWB in front of my right hip with my regular size pants (I guess my belly is soft enough to conform). It is pretty much invisible and does not interfere with sitting in a chair or driving. I wear it all the time and find it comfortable enough.
