I get it. With 15 people onstage, the debates will be enough of a circus without having a clown there. But on what grounds would you go about excluding Trump and no one else?

I agree with you. I have made it abundantly clear that I think that Trump is King of the Idiots. However ... if he runs he should get to debate if he meets the criteria. Period.
I cant see how he could be left out of the debates if he’s a registered republican and is in the top 10, even 20.
Rules need to be followed, whether you like the candidate or not.
I dont know the qualifications for entering the race.

The Donald and The Body met in Manhattan last night to discuss The Presidency, which Trump wants to seek with Oprah Winfrey as his running mate.
Trump and Minnesota Gov. Jesse “The Body” Ventura talked politics over dinner – hours after Trump announced he’s starting an exploratory committee to study a White House run.
Asked by The Post afterward if he’s running for president, Trump said: “Yeah, I am.”
Trump said earlier that he needs an exploratory committee “because so many people have put so much pressure on me to run. I would not be running if I thought I couldn’t get the nomination and win.”
Trump says he wants Oprah as veep because “she’s great,” and if she joins him in the race, “we’ll win.”
It wouldn’t say much for our field if they can’t deal with Donald in a debate, and do it quite well.
How embarrassing to run him off after the tier rules have been set already, although it will be probably be the conservatives who are hurt by increasingly splintered support. AGAIN.

I think he was being sarcastic or trying to appeal to liberals. Don’t underestimate this guy. Hillary badmouthed him today and he came right back at her about Benghazi and the email crime. How many Repub candidates have confronted her about that? Nobody. She goes floating around and nobody questions her 9 billion “scandals” which is a polite word for crimes. If it wasn’t for Trump stuff like that would never be mentioned. When the hell has Cruz ever talked about the Clinton criminal cabal? Why aren’t any candidates on the right obliterating this bitch about this stuff? They all treat her like she’s some untouchable Queen. F her, she put her hat in the ring, she is open season but nobody has the guts except Trump and he is just getting started. He is going to be her worst nightmare. She made the biggest mistake of her campaign today bashing him because I can assure you: Right now that guy has a team of people assembling every piece of crap that bitch has ever gotten away with and he is going to absolutely obliterate her.
