Extra-terrestrial life does exist, the head of NASA has confirmed, but said aliens were not hidden in Area 51. NASA Administrator Major Charles Bolden told British schoolchildren that he was confident that scientists would find life outside of Earth because there were so many planets that are similar to our own.
Asked by 10-year-old Carmen Dearing if he believed in aliens, he said: "I do believe that we will someday find other forms of life or a form of life, if not in our solar system then in some of the other solar systems - the billions of solar systems in the universe.
Today we know that there are literally thousands, if not millions of other planets, many of which may be very similar to our own earth. So some of us, many of us believe that we're going to find...evidence that there is life elsewhere in the universe."
Major Bolden also admitted that Area 51 existed but said the US government was not hiding alien life there. There is an Area 51, he said. Its not what many people think. Ive been to a place called that but its a normal research and development place. I never saw any aliens or alien spacecraft or anything when I was there. It think because of the secrecy of the aeronautics research that goes on there its ripe for people to talk about aliens being there.

Exactly.
Clickbait.
Do you actually think that the head of NASA is in the context of II Thes. 2? The Thessalonians would really have profited from knowing that 2000+ years ago, wouldn’t they?
in v6 of your text, Paul says that the man of sin was sitting (present tense) in the temple of God while he wrote those words! Not in the Vatican, not in UN headquarters. Where was the temple of God when Paul wrote those words? In Jerusalem, correct, evidently a Jewish personage.
In v8 of your text, Paul says that this individual would be slain when Jesus came. Do you think this individual is still alive? Perhaps the director of NASA no longer sitting in the Jewish temple?
Or, did himself say, in Mt. 16.27-28:
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds. Verily I say unto you, there are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”
I believe that Jesus told the truth that he was coming and judging while some of his disciples were still alive—in the first century. Do you believe what he said, or was he mistaken like modernist theologians say?
In the passage you quote in II Thes. 2, Paul believed in an imminent coming and judgment on Israel. He said that he would slay the man of sin, who was then sitting in God’s temple when he returned and destroyed the temple, which he said in Mt. 24.1-3, 29, and 34 would occur in his generation.
With all respect to you, what nonsense to sprinkle II Thes. 2 down in a headline about the NASA director!
Thats interesting.
I think I saved a link to that article, but I have such a forest of links now, finding a particular one has become difficult.
LOL. I try to compartmentalize, but I know what you mean.
smiles ... if allowed will meet you at the door ... my promise.
Bad headline. He didn’t say that. He was just speculating.
But I’m not celestial or even cosmotic...
Or is that cosmostic?
never look to a tree ... Look to our Savior, Please ....
If life on another planet was ever discovered, it would not lesson my Christian faith not even a bit. God didn't just create the planet Earth. He create EVERYTHING. The Bible is God's Manual for us. I certainly wouldn't buy a Ford car and expect the manual to tell me how to find the fuse box on a Toyota.
How does this help Muslims feel good about themselves???
Thanks. “I want the USA back” mention the same thing.
I agree that it was a bad headline.
I should have read deeper.
Isn’t it amazing some of these headlines. They’re just lies.
I swear while out hunting ... many wander from the side and site and lose their way instead ... may we build the fires on the highest peaks and pray they see the ‘light’
= :^)
Actually the headline is a lie, and the head of NASA has no clue if he is right or wrong. Instead just spouting his beliefs.
Their Mahdi is a good Alien candidate if I have ever heard of one. Perhaps this has been the plan all along...
(;^/ ... yes, the ‘stream’ sent by the ‘nightmare’. May it not be so! May the ‘thousand men’ know of the place, Lord.
Say what?
= :^)
smiles ...
