Some religious blogger criticizes Limbaugh?

Yes, the ditch digger always has crap to say about the C.E.O.

You don’t know what is in his heart or his mind.

Do you think his brother knows something of his heart? Some years ago I heard David Limbaugh interviewed about one of his books on a Christian radio program. I will never forget how he urged listeners to pray for Rush’s salvation. I’m not certain what program he was on, it’s been too long.

No, but I know that he does not reference Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour, as all Christians do and that includes his brother David.

I see no evidence Rush is furthering the Kingdom of Satan the last 25 years either.

I believe he is a believer. People who are atheists do not use phrases sincerely that “God Bless You” and “You’re doing the Lord’s work”, that we are a country “blessed by God” and the many references to God in a positive way that affirms his belief in the one true God of the Bible.

He has repeatedly stated he doesn’t use his program as a religious program, that is not what his three hours of radio airtime is about. Current events, political stuff, world events. He is not a pastor or a religious broadcaster. We have those and they are very good. That is not what he does. He may discuss it as it pertains to what is going on in terms of specific events but he never signed on to be that.

If we expect him to do this, then are we expecting sermons from our window washers every day, are we expecting to be grilled by our waiter if we’re saved, are we going to demand the dentist discuss our eternal future with us while fixing our tooth, are we going to have regular theological discussions with the cable guy? The standard seems to be applied narrowly here on him.

If we had a world where we had to prove to everyone else’s satisfaction we are saved, we’d avoid everyone. It would be one thing if Rush advocated unbiblical things. He doesn’t. If/when he speaks about God it is respectful, reverential, and positive.

You think wanting someone to be Christian is a bad thing? So being a Christian must be pretty bad?
