It sure could. And it could also “redefine” every other right we have. I still fail to see how any “constitutional convention” can be limited in any way since there is no sure way to guarantee “who those men will be” (I think those are Madison’s words about the men at the Constitutional Convention, but I could be wrong).
You are absolutely correct. A constitutional convention would be an incredible gamble with the country’s future. Yet the frustration with the activist judiciary setting political and social policy in a republic is real.
