Uh, I believe MA was the first “state” to outlaw it?

I recall that at the Constitutional Convention, it was the only state that had done so.

Perhaps I am remembering wrongly.

You may believe it but you are wrong.

Massachusetts was the first colony with slaves and they were the center of the slave trade for years.

Massachusetts never outlawed slavery and it wasn't until 1865 that it was abolished by the 13th amendment.

The northerners and the teachers' union didn't want you to know that.
