At one time, the Christians were known as “Nazarenes” after what was spoken (not written) of by the prophets of Jesus, per Matthew 2:23. The term is used in a derisive manner by Tertullus in Acts 24:5 to describe Christians.

Well, of course, I was being a bit facetious.

Of course, Jesus was a Jew. But the revealed Jewish religion came to an end at Jesus’ death.

The Jewish literature shows that the scarlet thread on the scapegoat never turned white a single time between the Crucifixion of Jesus and the destruction of the Temple.
