Actually Rove is incorrect. There is no evidence that repeal of the 2nd amendment would in anyway reduce the criminal use of firearms which was his premise. The countries with the highest rate of homicide with the use of a firearm have strict gun control laws.

Although I welcome the gun controllers to come out of the closet and dare to try to repeal the 2nd Amendment, it should be noted that there stated reasons are demonstrably false.

Ok, fair enough. But getting rid of the Second Amendment would be the required starting point for an attempt to get rid of guns.
