The word is a trap. Blacks use it all the time with no consequences. But if a White uses it, quotes it, says something vaguely resembling it, or scratches his nose he is accused of racism.

The intention is often to show disdain or the like. So, you get rid of one word and more pop up?
There is plenty of room for Obama to combat his own racism.
