Court Ruling Against Gay Marriage Could Cause Legal 'Chaos'

The next president really ought to create a Judicial review committee headed by Newt Gingrich to build a case against activist judges and submit the case to congress for impeachment.

I got to wondering that - I wonder how many state courts found a "righjt to homeosexual marriage" by some interpretation of the 14th amendment. The 2003 massachusetts homosexual marriage case, Goodridge v. Department of Public Health, was NOT based on the 14th amendment to the US constitution; but for sure all the Federal Circuit Court decisions were.

SCOTUS has been known to "constitutionalize" something that is uncosntituional (race-based preference - imagine if the preferred race was caucasion), or at least refuse to rule, based on "reliance," and leave the current mess in place.

they could have passed a bill adding an additional Title section to the 1964 Civil Rights Act that would specifically include civil rights for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people, which would have ended the whole argument right there.

If they are US citizens, the LGBT folks already have civil rights.
