That’s the key. Take Jeb Dole McCain Romney Bush out in the Primary Season and be done with it. End that discussion, early.

“Jeb has a zero chance of winning the presidency IMO.”

Precisely why the GOP Establishment and the Dems are pushing Jeb Dole McCain Romney Bush as hard as they are.

"so what the hell am I missing here?"

What you're missing is that your position is held by a minority of Republicans.

I sure as hell won’t vote for him. No damn way.

Ditto.

What you're missing is that your position is held by a minority of Republicans.

But a majority of Conservatives do hold that position. Something smells fishy...

"But a majority of Conservatives do hold that position."

That's because your definition of "Conservative" doesn't include enough votes to elect very many political leaders.

As bad as Bush is, and we are in agreement on that, to compare him to the consummate evil of Satan’s Daughter is foolish.

That’s what some said about Obama and Romney. And you see where we are.

How is it worse? We have seen what Obama is doing. I know what Hillary is capable of doing. Do you? She is an Alinsky radical. She hired PIs to intimidate and threaten women during impeachment. She is evil incarnate and there is nothing, absolutely nothing she will not do to get the office and keep it. I called her Satan’s Daughter at the Freeper Victory event in 2001. I stand by that assessment.

I don’t care what the WSJ tells me, there will be no vote for Jeb Bush in my house, from any of its members. Just that simple.

Laz, my friend, I don’t want to jump on a Bush bandwagon. But you certainly know what Hillary is capable of doing. Anything. Screw the Constitution. She and Bill got 250 mil to give the mysterious pardon to Marc Rich. They have destroyed people’s lies who might get in their way. Bush is bad, but he is not Satan’s Daughter.

Typical of the Left — They keep saying it ... more loudly and with growing frequency ... over and over hoping desperately it will come true and that Mrs. B-J Clinton or some other lying socialist will be elected — because Yeb Boosh sure as hell won’t!

Alison Grimes was the lesser evil in the KY Seate race. She would not be Majority Leader doing Obama’s bidding. She would be a junior Senator doing Obama’s bidding.

That poll has to be soooo skewed! NO one I read about or talk to would vote him for dog catcher! 100% in my house won’t vote for him!

Not going to vote for Jeb. A progressive, is a liberal, is a Marxist, is a democrat.

The problem is that, since 100% of democrats will vote against him, he has to have more than 75% of republicans who will vote for him to win. And a bunch of independents, too.

But, in fact, with Bush, I don’t see a difference. He’s for illegals, she’s for illegals. He believes in global warming, she does too. He’s a big corporateist, she is too. At least Romney said (even if he lied) that he’d repeal Obamacare. Bush won’t even do that. I’ve switched sides on this one. I’d stay home.

Unfortunately, if past elections are any lesson, I’m betting that once the RNC gets Jeb coronated, millions of people who formerly loathed the guy will start making excuses for him and talking about how it’s everyone’s duty to vote for the lesser evil, as with Bush I, Dole, Bush II, McCain, Romney, etc. I even went for that line myself (I did vote for Romney just because anything is an improvement over Obama, in contrast I’m not convinced Jeb is much different from Hillary).

99% will vote their party no matter who is on the ticket. Primary talk is just to bloviate.
