Lets put it this way. South Carolina was once part of the Confederacy. Which was a different country. And for some bizarre reason decides to fly this flag on State buildings even though it isn’t the State flag.

Texas was once part of Mexico. What would be your reaction if Texas decided to start flying a Mexican flag on ITS state buildings?

I’m guessing a bit different.....

Thanks for another voice of sanity on this thread. I realize we’ve had differences of opinions in the past, but on this one, you’re spot on, IMHO.

Lincoln never recognized the Confederacy as a separate country.

I'm sort of the opinion that they can fly whatever flag they wish in their own state.

What would be your reaction if Texas decided to start flying a Mexican flag on ITS state buildings?

If Texans want that to happen, then let em.

It does not fly on state buildings, it is part of a confederate memorial behind the statehouse.
