EXCLUSIVE — TED CRUZ: OBAMATRADE ENMESHED IN CORRUPT, BACKROOM DEALINGS
Breitbart ^ | 23 June 2015 | Ted Cruz

Posted on 06/23/2015 4:29:02 AM PDT by Leto

As a general matter, I agree (as did Ronald Reagan) that free trade is good for America; when we open up foreign markets, it helps American farmers, ranchers, and manufacturers. But TPA in this Congress has become enmeshed in corrupt Washington backroom deal-making, along with serious concerns that it would open up the potential for sweeping changes in our laws that trade agreements typically do not include. Since the Senate first voted on TPA, there have been two material changes. First, WikiLeaks subsequently revealed new troubling information regarding the Trade in Services Agreement, or TiSA, one of the trade deals being negotiated by Obama. Despite the administration’s public assurances that it was not negotiating on immigration, several chapters of the TiSA draft posted online explicitly contained potential changes in federal immigration law. TPA would cover TiSA, and therefore these changes would presumably be subject to be fast-track. When TPA last came up for a vote, both Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)80% and I introduced amendments that would have barred fast-track treatment for any trade agreement that attempted to impact immigration law. Two other Republican senators objected, and we were both denied votes on our amendments. Instead, the House inserted substantially weaker language in related legislation.

Once again troll, and it’s never going to stop until you answer:

WHY DID SENATOR SESSIONS VOTE ‘Y-E-S’ ON THE ‘S-E-C-R-E-T’ Iran deal?

You’ve been asked this question more than 5 times on different threads and yet you won’t answer.

Why is that? Hmmmmm?

So when these trade deals are sent to President Cruz for signature, he’s going to rubber stamp them? Who is delusional?

You're delusional, and so over-the-top in your little Cruz fantasy world that it's a waste of time to have exchanges with you. And you don't help his candidacy with all this pretense that you know exactly what Cruz will or won't do in every situation. Especially immediately after a major flip/flop.

I'm convinced that before the primaries are over, every single candidate will have been lambasted here at FR for "selling out America", and I take that sort of rhetoric with a grain of salt.

Yes, but they are like flies...the come and cling onto something, some talking point, and never get off of it...and when challenged, they change the subject or never answer the question

Ted Cruz owes Jeff Sessions a huge apology. Sessions is the one that stood tall, did the right thing and took the stand against this, NOT Cruz.

“So, who is your perfect candidate now?”

Walker came out for the trade bill - and hasn’t recanted like Cruz either.

So it must be Paul; he’s the only one that was against this bill. But is so unconservative on many other things.

> “You’re delusional, and so over-the-top in your little Cruz fantasy world that it’s a waste of time to have exchanges with you.”

I sense you are on your way out of this thread because you have no basis for your attack on Ted Cruz. You did not answer the question posed to you previously:

WHY DID SENATOR SESSIONS VOTE ‘Y-E-S’ ON THE ‘S-E-C-R-E-T’ Iran deal?

It demolishes your argument against Senator Cruz because it would force you to apply the same argument against Senator Sessions. Your premise is therefore contradicted thereby rendering your argument vacuous.

> “And you don’t help his candidacy with all this pretense that you know exactly what Cruz will or won’t do in every situation. Especially immediately after a major flip/flop.”

Keep trying troll! It won’t work because the grassroots is getting behind Ted Cruz like a tsunami.

Evidence is right here (time 1:12:40)

LOL...then your support was weak.

Now, I guess you will get to vote for Jeb or Hillary. Please, get a grip. This wasn’t a bad trade deal to start with and you know it. Funny, you have all of the talking points the trolls use...why is that?

You are buying the national polls? What about the polls of those who actually vote...the grassroots? what about all of the people who still show up for Cruz events? Why is he expanding the map? Why is he still asked to keynote most events? Because he isn’t LOSING in the polls.

He has explained why he changed his mind on TPA. And, if you paid attention to FR, you;d know that BOEHNER allowed Liberals to add amendments to it but not Conservatives. That is a pretty good reason to change a vote...

But, you are a quitter. Cruz isn’t 100% so you whine and say “now, I can’t support him” but I have nowhere else to go. You weren’t betrayed...get over yourself.

LOL...and I am supposed to believe this is you? I could print something like this out...

but, I believe in response to another post that you said you still support Cruz...

If that is the case, then, and only then, will I apologize.

“He has seriously injured his candidacy and sent his supporters to others with whom they are comfortable. Right now it appears to be a Bush/Walker race.”

Walker supported TPA, so how could that be?

Nothing new. Romney and the PDS wars proved that. Same people involved there too.

No one stopped them so they brought friends. Now FR is flooded with RINOs at best and plenty of actual libs that were caught red handed in pushing liberalism here. From Posting anti border fence info straight from LaRaza groups to Pro Romney/Obamacare BS.

They are still here. They are still liberal and they keep posting their crap unobstructed.

LOL...therein lies the rub.

You are sacrificing your views for someone who is so wrong on so many other issues....OVER one vote.

Pathetic really.

And, if you are just making the point that this is what the anti-Cruzers do, you are right.

Because Walker has more lib in him than Cruz so naturally he will get the not in a 1-1 choice.

Yep, they also probably got paid by Trump to troll. There is a reason they still bash Cruz...

Ironically, they then turn around and cite his poll numbers...

So, my question to them, which never gets answered of course, is that if Ted is really polling so low, WHY bother commenting on his page?

“Who’s laughing, now?”

Why laugh?

Walker was for the trade bill too. As were most of the others.

This only leaves Paul, if this is your defining issue.

As I said, explain how Ted Cruz helps McConnell and Obama.

Giving me links to nefarious things Obama is up to, doesn't prove anything or tie Ted Cruz specifically, to those nefarious plots. Nice try, though.

Yes, but if he is already losing...if he is already toast, then haven’t they already done their job?
