If Cruz had voted against it the last time, it would have passed anyway.

I would have hoped that the person Conservatives support for President has the ability to influence others. Much time was wasted by Cruz in sticking with the original vote plan. It wasn’t until the day of the vote that he changes his mind. Certainly, even if you don’t agree with, you can understand how disillusioned many Cruz supporters are. I truly thought Cruz was different than what just happened.

The name calling on this thread and the excuse making is really just making it worse.

TPA is actually a very good bill and it’s not new. The previous TPA was killed by Harry Reid to take it away from GW Bush. This TPA is a reinstatement of the old bill. And TPA is not secret.

TPA is not the problem. The problem is Obama/Boehner.

Ted Cruz reversed his vote because of the amendments by liberals that Boehner allowed and the conservative amendments that Boehner killed.

Cruz represents Texas. Coming out now against TPA will probably cost him some votes at home. Cornyn is on there now praising TPA. Don’t think Cruz’s enemies won’t use this against him back in Texas.
