Even though 20 states have banned webcam abortions, they remain legal in Iowa, where a court ruling struck down a ban on the practice.
The Iowa Supreme Court has overturned a lower court decision that had upheld the Iowa Board of Medicine's ruling against webcam abortions.
Jenifer Bowen of Iowa Right to Life says that equates to lawyers sitting on the bench telling the Board of Medicine their business.
"One of the justices said just that: Why should we as Supreme Court justices, attorneys by trade, why should we find ourselves to know more than the Iowa Board of Medicine, than doctors and medical professionals," she tells OneNewsNow.
The lawsuit was filed by Planned Parenthood of the Heartland which serves Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska and eastern Oklahoma.
Bowen alleges more than 2,200 women and girls have suffered side effects from chemical abortions sufficient to send them to hospital emergency rooms, and at least 14 women have died.

What is a webcam abortion?
I thought Iowans knocked out three of those judges after they deicded that they knew more than the legislators and people of Iowa when they these judges decided to enforce a mock definition of marriage. Did they just wind up with more bad judges?

The “method” of selection for ALL Iowa Appellate Judgeships is the “Missouri Method”, that means the Iowa “BAR” “recommends” judges(cronys) to the JOKE of an Iowa “Governor(”Terry Branstad(RINO/GOP-e extraordinaire)”) and He and the JOKE of a Iowa “Legislature(Ran by DEM Groenstal) pretty much “rubber-stamps” it. It like a “meet the new boss, just like the old boss). Iowa has pretty much a SCREWED UP State “Government”.
Telemedicine is a growing field—but the business of activating a drawer is peculiar. Why not just call in a prescription? Anyway—this is not a big setback for pro-life…and maybe gives an idea. The lobby should press to require a doctor to have admitting privileges at a hospital when dispensing such drugs...
