Actually, if it’s post adolescent buggery of a male, the priest is a homosexual. If it’s preadolescent, then the charge is pedophilia. Since 85% of the victims were adolescent boys, the Church has a homosexual problem and not a pedophile problem, which is the angle pursued by the media and other people who hate the Catholic Church.

I generally regard homosexuals to be a complete overlap with the group "pedophiles". If the abnormal act of buggering a man's @$$ is desirable to them, then why not a child's? They don't have normal on/off switches for their behavior.

Indeed, history shows us they have far too much proclivity for it. As a matter of fact, about 40% of homosexuals in one medical study I have seen, admit they were molested as children.

If you look up molestations in general, you will find that that 2% of the population accounts for ~40% of all molestations.

That's why queers can truthfully say most pedophiles are hetero.
