Thank you for contacting McNEIL-PPC, Inc.. We appreciate your interest in our company.
Johnson & Johnson has chosen to advertise its products both in print and on television since these media are often consumers' primary source of information about new and established brands. The advertising agencies adhere to our strict codes of good taste and propriety in developing ad copy. Every effort is made to convey our messages with the utmost discretion. Also, before any ad is used, it is evaluated by consumer panels for effectiveness and audience acceptance. The final test of acceptance is, of course, consumer response once ads are published and the commercials are aired on television.
As the makers of TYLENOL®, we celebrate the rights and freedoms of all people, regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Although we regret your displeasure with our position, we do value your comments and they will be shared with the appropriate team.
Again, thank you for your interest in our company. Should you have any comments or questions in the future, please contact us via our website www.tylenol.com or by calling our toll-free number, 1-800-962-5357. The makeup has nothing to do with being a spokesperson for JC Penney.
No kidding. That wasn’t the point. The point was that her departure from JCP was not due to any kind of backlash.
You are mistaken.
my 24 year old daughter just came into my room and asked if I had seen a Tylenol commercial. ??? Well I did a search and found this... she said it was SICK... who do we contact and what would be a alternative to Tylenol if we need to take it... also what other prodducts should we avoid that the company produces?
The ads endorse homosexuality, so this sentence is false on its face.
The creation of this free republic began with a boycott.
Looks like it’s time to dust off the old playbook.
We mostly use ibuprofen, but sometimes I use acetominofen back to back with ibuprofen if one of my kids has a high fever. If I can’t find dye free generic, I buy dye free Tylenol. I’ve since stocked up on dye free generic when I found it.
When they asked me if I would stay on if they reduced the fee, I said no. They then asked me if I would stay on if they really, really reduced the fee... I said no. They then asked me why I was so adamant about leaving... I told them their programming was atrocious and offensive, to include advertisements. I no longer wish to have their sewage in my house. ~Seeya~... God, but that felt good!
Seventy bucks a month back in my pocket. No longer contributing to the propaganda machine. And I'll never have to bear the sight of a sodomite 'family' commercial.
Aspirin for me too.
