The left smells a kill, they smell the end of conservatism they now see their future total control and thus triple their efforts. Basically there is nothing left but a terrible Social War. Does anyone honestly think the left is going to say “O Fie we must voluntarily give up our positions of power and authority.” Those of leftist persuasion have planned and executed well. Since the 1930’s they have gained control over all vital institutions; i.e. academia, giving access to the future governors, control of media thus controlling public opinion; control of organized religion, recently the control of business, once a bastion of conservative opinion. We are in bad shape and our civilization is crumbling around us.
