The government has lost the legitimacy of “consent of the governed” and is now just ruling with a club.

Agreed.

The best way forward is Obamacare collapse under its own weight. And eventually it well.

It can grind on forever. Look at the UK...

VA care for everyone!

NHS patients 'frightened to ask for help' as wards 'stretched to breaking point'

...and Cuba.

Indeed, as you say, “Dammit”.

Of course the 5 usual suspects having voted for the Obama IRS’s position, the devil is in the details as to whether to hold Roberts at fault for joining them. He may have chosen to author the opinion for the majority to keep someone else from doing even more harm.

The Supreme Court is not an independent entity. It is part and parcel of the federal establishment. All it does is enable our enslavement, suckers.

I’m in. Not just for Roberts but for Boehner and McConnell as well.

I want to see them brought down in a very public, VERY humiliating way.

"Where do we go from here when there is nothing left of the Constitution and the rule of law?"

I think we all know where things should go from here, but there is one last option short of that: mass refusal to pay taxes. If this isn't "taxation without representation", I don't know what is. The Supreme Court has brazenly disregarded legislation duly passed by the representatives of the people. Of course, those "representatives" tortured the legislative process to pass it in the first place, but that's another story.

Aside from the obvious self-preservation, why should I continue to pay into a system that now flaunts its total disregard for the will of the people? There are no other options remaining. Of course, most people (even conservatives) are too attached to comfort and "stuff" to ever do anything. I'm starting to think none of us deserve to be called "Americans" anymore.

Re: “What does Zero know about Roberts?”

The same thing a lot of us knew when Roberts was nominated...

He was never a Conservative.

He never will be a Conservative.

>>How many of these 6 (Roberts, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan ) are HOMOSEXUALS ?

That question is “unprofessional”.

Please report to HR immediately.

The progressives of both parties have now coalesced to form the uniparty. This new party serves only the statist and the US chamber of commerce. You all know this is true. The conservatives and liberals are already starting to see the destruction. It is only the low-info voters who maintain the uniparty's power.

We could just crawl under a rock and hope it does not get too bad before we meet our maker OR we can stand and fight like our forefathers did and take back our country. Just my 2 cents.

Ya know, there were three books that were written a long time ago. One is 1984, second is Animal House and the third is Atlas Shrugged.

These three books were classified as fiction. Methinks they turned out to be documentaries.

If you read his opinion, he is basically saying, correctly I’m afraid, that everything else written in the law intended to cover these people and that the wording was not so definitive in excluding the Federal exchange, to warrant dismantling the law.

I hate the law, but it was NOT going to be overturned on a technicality like this, no matter how much we would have liked to see it.

If they don’t find some pretext to arrest you first and grab your guns. Take a closer look at the Waco “shootout” of May 17. It was the first exercise in doing just that to people like you, successfully.
