No serious number will 'go Galt' or even complain loudly until they are seriously hungry. No one will be 'seriously hungry' until the Fed stops printing fiat currency which can be used to buy food, etc. The Fed will not stop printing fiat currency until people will no longer accept it. People will no longer accept fiat currency when others agree it is fiat.

That is why the TPP is a major danger as it moves us closer to a world currency which can not be deemed to be fiat as there is no alternative to it. And with no alternative, we have lost all freedom without a shot having to be fired.

But I’m here to tell you - ALL OF YOU - that’s the world we live in. Just what the hell do you suggest we do about it?

Withdraw from the political process? Let me translate that for you: GIVE UP WITHOUT FIRING A SHOT!!

What you have to do - ALL OF YOU - is get off your dead assess and WORK for the candidate of your choice. And I don’t mean just talk about it. Go to the precinct meetings. Make phone calls. Knock on doors. Because I can assure you the other side is doing just that.

And I don’t want to hear whining about “the media.” We have the tools to do our own reporting, but nobody wants to put out the effort to go to the city council or county commission meetings where the rubber meets the road. I do, every week. I stand up and ask the bastards questions in a public meeting. They don’t like it, but that’s too damn bad for them.

Finally, if you’re not happy with the candidates who’re running, get off your dead ass and run for office yourself.

I’ve been voting since 1971, and haven’t missed very many elections, local, state, or federal. In every one of those hundreds of elections, I voted FOR THE LESSER OF THE EVILS, with one notable exception.

I had an opportunity in all those years to vote for a candidate whose views were totally aligned with mine.

I ran for a city council seat in 1982, and pulled the lever for myself - the perfect candidate.

Every other time, and I mean EVERY TIME, the other candidates were flawed.

So if you want to bitch and whine, and go hide, refuse to vote or participate, and complain how unfair life and politics is, go right ahead.

Or go do something about it.
