They already culturally have. I made it clear that I wasn’t going to engage in premarital sex throughout high school. Plenty of peers thought I was a weirdo at the time (1998-2002) for that notion. Plenty of others figured I would just give up on it. But after years, people generally didn’t care about my decision in that arena. Nowadays though, the media pretty much push the idea that it’s impossible to not have sex and that the act isn’t a choice. I disagree with the opinion of Bristol which echoes this.
Well-said. Our society has changed so much, and in this area, not for the better. sin and temptation have existed since the fall of man, but when your society says it’s ok that makes it even harder.
