It didn’t always result in death. I think there was one royal who was tossed off a building in Czech territory who survived when he landed in a dung heap.
Here we have a ballot box and a peaceful change of power (except when Republicans win then the anarchist left says that the elections MUST have been stolen). The exception is the false gods on the Supremacist Court who are pulling decisions out of their arse these days. They are lifetime appointments (even when some like Ginsburg cannot remain awake on the job).
