If there is any distinction left between Democrats and Republicans, it’s that there are still a few small number of honorable Republicans left. The rest of “our guys” no more represent us than the left, but at least Democrats toss their voters a bone once in awhile. What do we get? One giant, bipartisan crap sandwich served on a dirty plate of government largesse.

And thats why some of us took the position we did.

I understand normalicy bias. I get that many are conditioned to not rock the boat. I accept that very few pwoplw have the belly for a fight because they just want to get up, go to work and live as America’s founders intended.

But history shows us that isn’t possible and the founders used the words ‘A Republic if you can keep it’ for a reason. Many of their words deal directly with the idea of an everlasting fight to keep what God gave us and the Constitution enumerated.

We didn’t end up with a congress full of liberals because people held to those words. We got where we are one lesser evil at a time because people just got too fat and lazy.

If people put forth a fraction of the effort electing conservatives as they did in making excuses for how the liberal RINO was good enough and the other guy ‘supposedly’ worse, we’d have a house and Senate filled with conservatism, not lesser evil.

Which wasn’t so lesser efterall. Just the same old Democrat evil in a Republican tie. Hindsight is 20/20. But it didn’t have to be witnessed in hindsight. It was clearly visible from the beginning. But people just intentionally refused to look. Because to see would mean the need to act instead of make excuses.
