Do you believe that we need a Conservative (or Right Wing, if you will) Party that will upset the cart filled with all the rotted fruit tossed in since 1912?
I do believe that we have a uni-party in operation at the present.
Getting a third party off the ground is so difficult and time consuming in normal times. It was a crisis that caused the Republican party to so quickly rise to prominence. The Whigs (I think) were moribund and most of them switched over to the new party. Result: an instant presence in Congress for the Republicans.
Could some other party pull the same kind of coup? I tried the Constitution Party, and they were nice people, but they weren’t serious. The Libertarians seem to be serious, but they aren’t conservative.
