So here we are unprotected by the very First Amendment that exists to protect religious thought and action. What in our country’s history caused this?

This generation's conservatives have "turned the other cheek" for the past 50 years and look what that has gotten us. No, it's time to sharpen our talons -- and our tongues -- a fight for what we believe in. Name-calling -- especially when it is true and accurate -- is an excellent way to rile the emotional Left, even if it only puts them off their game for a moment.

Oh, and I most certainly do hold in disdain those who are dedicated to destroying our Republic, our Constitution and our faith-based Judeo-Christian traditional American values.

It's time to "grow a pair" and not worry about insulting -- or holding in "disdain" -- those who hate you and wish to destroy you.

Why seek an EXEMPTION? Both the Obie Administration and SCOTUS have clearly displayed their disdain for the RULE OF LAW. It is way past time that the citizens of America embrace the new found lawlessness and ignore these pontification from SCROTUS.

Will someone please show me where the enumerated power is listed in the US Constitution that gives the FEDS the right to define - let alone regulate - marriage? Anyone?

I don't see any solution anymore except maybe a few states have the guts and traditional enough population to leave the US, perhaps in connection with an adjoining state.

Thinking the same thing this morning on way to coffee. Although living on partial SS, I would probably pack up and move to a more conservative friendly nation if one could be found. Texas, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho?
