The only boycott that will work is a targeted one of a small to medium sized company.

Pick one company to teach a lesson. One small enough and operating close enough to the margins that a nationwide targeted boycott could really do some damage.

Have all conservatives in media, internet, radio, and politics concentrate ONLY on that one company.

Blanket boycotts against Coke, Pepsi, Ford, Home Depot, Walmart, etc etc all at the same time will never work.

Good targets include Chobani, the yogurt manufacturer that recently had a TV commercial with two lesbians in bed; Groupon, the online coupon service; Liberty Burger, an upscale hamburger chain; the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Rays; Hobbe’s Restaurants (San Jose area).

I posted what you posted years ago. Amen to what you commented.

Conservatives don't know how to organize an effective boycott and never have...and if they did, it's like herding cats to get them to stick to "the plan".

As you posted above, IC, you have to boycott one (really radical) retail company at a time for 6 months. Then go on to another, and another, and don't let up. And a dedicated leader is necessary to keep the boycott alive and kicking.

This is a tall order, but kinda fun in a way to watch results after the first boycott sets in for a while.

Boycotts can work if the participants are disciplined and serious about what they're doing and stick to the plan....and are able to keep their shopping/purchasing urges under control.

A tall order, indeed.
