...And replace it with rejecting the federal decision as utterly unconstitutional. The Constitution, the ONLY source of federal power, gives the feds NO POWER to interfere in any way with marriage. The Constitution is at the center of this and every federal act and is the basis of it's validity or illegality.
The GOP won't do that becasue they are more worried about the future of the GOP than they are the future of America.
The fight is at the state level. STATES: stand up for YOUR freedom and YOUR Constitution, the only legal bulwark of freedom against federal tyranny, and reject and nullify unconstitutional federal acts and decisions which by definition are acts of tyranny. NOW is the time. DON'T wait for COS or Constitutional amendments that may or may not come. ACT NOW!!!
I realize that interracial marriage is a different animal but I'm afraid that ship sailed with Loving vs. Virginia.
