One one level, within the minds of the two groups, yes.
I am also cognizant that not everyone agrees that all the prohibitions of the Old Testament—e.g., including dietary laws—are required for all believers in Christianity.

Two notable people who don’t agree are Jesus and Paul.
Well, thank the Lord we do not have to rely on the Old Testament alone to see what He thinks about homosexuality. If one is inclined to actually know what God said, one (that means you) could actually read Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 1:18-32; 1 Timothy 1:9, 10; 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Jude 1:7.
And woe to the one who equates agreeing with God to hate. People are not "hating" when they disagree with homosexuality and the same sex marriage debate. They are agreeing with what God said long ago. God doesn't change. Homosexuality is an abomination to Him. If you disagree with that or call it "hate"...well you are against God. Period. I care not what your words says...you are opposing God...and that will not end well for you.
Wow.
Yeah, you are one of those 'tolerant' types who wants to see religion embrace male-to-male anal sex.
Darks, we got a live one here.
