Martin Luther himself held some rabidly anti-Semitic views. The Lutheran Church has since formally backtracked from them an issued a formal apology to the Jews. This fellow appears to be an outlier who did not get the message.

Others, not so much.
As did a Pope of the time Pius V now Saint Pius V. Expelled Jews from the Papal States. Plenty of anti-semites then and now.
