Again, the courts have neither been standard in their rulings/logic nor proficient in English.

slavery = bad (13th A.), income tax = fine
Voting tax = bad, 2nd A. tax (license) = fine
Stealing peanuts = bad, Welfare/SS/Medicare = fine
Prohibition and repeal = lawful, drug-war = lawful
4th/5th/9th/10th/13th on own = good, but disregard when it comes to 16th or War on Drugs/confiscation

Understood, and I've read more cases than the average lawyer has. The courts are inconsistent and dishonest. My word for the day is "whimsy," which is what the courts rule by.

However, lawfare is the act of dragging your opponent through the hallowed halls of whimsy, just for kicks.
