Most of us wouldn’t vote for someone married 3 times if this is true about DT and if it happened to be true about some others. Still. As to the other, this was discussed last night. I don’t think there is much to add on that.

Discussed last night or not on Freerepublic, Donald Trump has chickened out on this Gay Marriage ruling by the SCOTUS.
Which means in plain terms, his so-called belief in traditional marriage between a man and a woman doesn't mean much if he can't bring himself to speak out against the Unconstitutional nature of this latest SCOTUS decision.

It takes two to make a marriage work, and sometimes it doesn't anyway. IIRC he was married 15 years, then 8, now over 10 years and still going. His youngest son was 8 when he divorced the first time, and he had a 7 year old daughter when he divorced the second time. He seems to be a good father based on how his kids turned out. He also admits he didn't spend enough time with them because of business. I don't know who initiated the divorces.
It would be interesting to poll FReepers on the subject of divorce in general. However Ronald Reagan divorced with two young children, and I don't think FReepers held it against him.
