Twenty-six percent (26%) of Likely U.S. Voters now think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey for the week ending June 25.
This finding is down two points from 28% the week before and ties the low for the year first reached in April. From late December through the beginning of March, 30% or more of voters said every week that the country was heading in the right direction, but the weekly findings have fallen back into the mid- to high 20s since then.

What???? With all the celebrators of the Rainbow-Utopia-Healthcare-For-All decisions I’ve seen lately???
So that means 74% say it’s headed in the WRONG direction.......can’t have that for a headline though, OH NO!
But-but-but didn’t the liberal establishment just have the most amazing week EVER?
What is good for liberalism must, inevitably, be bad for the future of any country in which their agenda is adopted.
But you know, this time, they will get it right.
Sure.
It’s not just a thought. I know some of those scum, and they are indeed angry that 0bama hasn’t moved the country left fast enough. They openly discuss how the Constitution needs to be scrapped.
He’s DEAD, Matt.
Said, Doc ADAMS, what a character.
Cris Rea - TEXAS!!!!
Engaged an older Black lady in conversation while waiting to have new tires installed. Talked about 4th of July, the American and Confederate flags and our upcoming holiday. She supports removing all Confederate flags and status, said her race and she personally was “wronged” and she thinks BO is doing an awesome job. Asked her if she was aware that only 2% of the southern population had slaves at any time and that some of them were Black. Also asked her to name two things that BO had done during his term in office for Black people. Her response - getting elected as a Black man and getting people talking. She did not know that BO was educated in a foreign country, how many millions of Black babies have been aborted, that the unemployment rate for young Black men is the highest among all groups, or that Obama wants to grant citizenship to millions of illegals which will take jobs away from Blacks. Her response, “Well, he is trying to do things but he can’t do everything by himself and Republicans don’t help him at all”. Fortunately it was time for me to leave.
That's just a bandwagon bump. Americans are in love with being on the "winning team," even if the "win" is a nefarious development for the country (SCOTUS decisions on Obamacare and SSM). I've given up trying to figure out American voters.
Well, I guess you could say we are headed in the right direction if you think we are heading straight toward a civil war.
This polls ended on June 25th, so only one day with the Obamacare decision. Let alone the “lightning” bolt from above with the decision on Friday.
There quite a few black people I know who were Obama supporters to the core, are upset about the gay marriage ruling. “Why are the gay people getting what they want BEFORE us?”
I didn’t push any farther and just let it go, but I was thinking, What do YOU want, now? Full-time jobs??
Oh, stay tuned... this polling concluded on the 25th.. the day before SCOTUS effed the country on SSM. Next week the 26% number will be above 30.
Regardless, that’s still less than a third. If only people were smart enough to connect the dots as to WHO it is that is running us off a cliff.
We have not lost Gen. Patton, nor has He lost us.
Let those other Ba$tards die for what Their ‘CONCEPT’ of a Country is.
We seem to have lost a few important Battles lately.
This Conflict is only beginning in earnest now, and far from over.
“She did not know that BO was educated in a foreign country” You could have also said that in addition to spending a good deal of his childhood in Indonesia, he also grew up in upper class surroundings in Honolulu with his white university professor mother whose parents in turn were the first female vice president of the Bank of Hawaii and the proprietor of one of the more exclusive furniture stores in the area. Wonder if that woman you talked to knew (or did not know) about that as well.
Read this Cruz interview and see if you still think he is overrated.

Lessee ... I’m sitting here, days short of my 63rd year on this Earth. In the evaluation I’m about to reveal, i’m taking into account all those years that America had pride. All those years that folks died attempting to escape totalitarian governments, with the machine guns pointed INWARD, to get to this country, and what it did stand for, then. I met with, had dinners with, grew up with some of them and their first-borne American children.
My evaluation:
‘We’se F*d!’
Thank you to all those that contributed to that.
Negroes (all of them as a proportion of the U.S. population) - 12%
Homosexuals (all of them as a proportion of the U.S. population) - 2%
Guilt-ridden white liberals who are obsessed with skin color (i.e., white racists) - 12%
By Jove, it appears you’ve got it.
“Sixty-seven percent (67%) now believe the nation is headed down the wrong track, up two points from a week ago.
A year ago at this time, findings were identical, 26% to 67%.”
I think the US is on a rocket-powered boost into the toilet.
....which makes the CNN poll showing Obama approval going up, the ruling about homosexuals and Obamacare all BS.
We are in a bad way nationally, no doubt about it.
And remember when we were winning the war in Iraq and unemployment was 5% under Bush? We were told that was the depths of national pride.
Lies.
