Well, not by NY State LEOs anyway. The people around this prison have no idea how lucky they were no one was killed by the two scumbag escapees.
Both had no chance of ever being released from prison and absolutely nothing to lose.
That they escaped at all speaks volumes and that it took over three weeks to catch them is flat-out shameful.

They could have disappeared pretty well in Mexico...not so much in Canada.
