The Confederate battle flag has been a hot topic in the news over the last few weeks. Some government organizations have taken the flag down, and Walmart made the landmark decision to remove all Confederate battle flag items from stores. However, one side effect of removing the flag from culture has led to the removal of popular Dukes of Hazzard products from stores. Now, TV Land even says it will no longer air any episodes of the classic series.

Because the Nazi principle of Gleichshaltung cannot be implemented fast enough to suit modern day Fascists.

Meanwhile, are they still showing Hogan's Heroes which makes light of Nazis, MASH yucking about the Korean War, and All in the Family which has a bigoted main character?

It's called HUMOR, dummies! It's how we humans cope with things.

Mygosh, these folks are going to propel Trump into the presidency. What's next? Refusing to show debates that include Trump?

Never fear, the internet is here. Almost all of the Dukes of Hazzard episodes are available online at solarmovie.is - See Link

I pretty much don't watch tv anymore because all of the shows are available online - without commercials.

Better buy the series before they disappear from Amazon and other places.

TV Land had , at one time, a great lineup of TV dramas and such that they ditched and I haven’t watched them in years.

Same with the A&E Channel. When they first started they had a great lineup of British TV shows and other things that made them stand out. I rarely even watch them any longer as they have become irrelevant with their programming.

Still have ME TV and a couple of others that cater to older TV shows.

I noticed that this past monday. For the past few weeks theyve been airing dukes of hazzard starting at 4:36 pm. On monday afternoon I turned on tv land at 4:36 to watch. Only to see the middle of an episode of bonanza.

I looked up the tv schedule on my tv screen and saw a change. Dukes of hazzard now started at 5pm, sharp. Oh well. A time change. No biggie. 5pm came and instead of a dukes of hazzard episode, another episode of bonanza began.

I KNEW what was going on and why. They censored it due to all the recent politically correct fad nonsense over the confederate flag.

If they thought that us dukes fans were going to sit and do nothing and watch bonanza, they were sadly mistaken. I changed the channel and watched something else: the godfather 2 on the AMC channel. A great classic movie I usually drop everything to watch. Except for dukes of hazzard. If they had continued to air dukes of hazzard, I wouldn’t have changed the channel.

MeTV is the way to go. It is over-the-air and shows the kinds of TV shows that were TV Land’s bread and butter.

Yet they only took it off the air once it became a financial/image problem.

i.e. $$$, not principles

Which is really what this is all about

Watching the Dukes, we were called "Brain Dead Teenagers". Gen X is never understood. Gen X watched the Dukes not because they wanted the South to rise, but is was a show about youth telling the system to shove it. Gen X was raised in the shadow of the 60 hippies who thought they were better than everyone else. In the 1980's Gen X fought off PC on campus. We also loved Reagan because the Baby Boomers were telling us Americas best days were behind us but Reagan showed us otherwise.

I did not have a confederate flag, but the kids who did was just telling all those self absorbed PC baby boomers to F***-off.

That is one repulsive show and I refuse to watch it. There is almost no Network shows that I watch anymore. It all either too Insipid, too PC, or both.

Also I have noticed a number of shows that are writing in a gay storyline, sub plot line, or just injecting a gay scene into a show that has no bearing to plot or storyline just to do so.

I recall telling a friend that there would be a time in the future in which virtually ALL vintage film/tv fare will eventually be banned. Things like “Tarzan” movies (offensive having a white hero in the black man’s continent), virtually all westerns (racist against Indians, glamorizes guns), even things like old family sitcoms like “Father Knows Best,” “Ozzie and Harriet,” “Leave it to Beaver” (promotes white, sexist patriarchy; racist via lack of minorities).

Cultural-marxists want to demonize/erase all history and all collective cultural memory. This is just the beginning.
