I was looking over the onlookers, it appears to me that they were not just homosexuals.

There are stores in the background, this is a regular city street. How does this work? Are shoppers and workers exposed to this when they go about their daily business? What about families with children? Can they use the public sidewalks without being exposed to this vileness? What about their civil rights?
