As you are acutely aware, social media format skewers context and tone. Which contributes to point of content getting lost. Don't use your lack of patience as an excuse for being a bore.
Right or wrong, some would disagree with your thoughts that human level, individual level and political corporate level are unrelated.
You may be correct, however for some, its a matter of subtlety and frame of reference. Just because you disagree does not make the other person a bastard, moron and dumbass.
If you really are C. Edmund Wright, the author and contributor then use your talent to share, inform and educate, calling people names like that should be beneath you. Maybe its a cultural gap and age, but it is indicative of laziness in speech and thought in my era.
Fair point - let me say a few things.
First, I was not using passion and impatience as an excuse. I was simply saying that what you saw was the result of those two traits. No excuse, just an explanation. Guilty as charged.
Second, and this is related to the impatience, is that whenever certain issues are debated, Trump is one, trade is another - abortion is one, immigration is one... there is a certain segment that will immediately question motives. They will immediately call you a sell out or a fake or an establishment shill. This is the knee jerk reaction I get on several issues.
NEVER a thought from a certain segment of Freepers that maybe conservatives can have an honest disagreement on “how” to best solve a problem, or in this case, on “how” to best message a campaign. My only perspective was from the standpoint of a campaign strategy - and I’m accused of being insensitive to women and all kinds of crap.
And I’m sorry, it is allowed to comment narrowly....and appropriately. And by the way, I’ve not seen a damned word EVER on hundreds and hundreds of illegal immigration threads on FR about rape. Suddenly these kool aid drinkers are acting like it’s the main issue? Sorry, cannot abide that.
I’ll admit, I am infuriated by this. I never question people’s motives on FR...but I will, in anger, belittle their illogic and emotionalism. But I NEVER start it.
