Populist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is on a roll, more than doubling his support in Iowa where the Democratic race is coming down to the independent against Hillary Rodham Clinton, with others like Vice President Joe Biden and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley becoming irrelevant.
In a new Quinnipiac University poll of likely Iowa caucus-goers released Thursday, Clinton continues to lead, 52 percent to 33 percent for Sanders.
That is a huge jump for the outspoken Sanders. In a May poll, it was Clinton by a margin of 60 percent to 15 percent.

The media are torn in several directions by Sanders’s surge. They like a good dog fight which makes for good copy yet are pulling for PIAPS’s vagina driven victory. They also would like to see another socialist (left of even Hilary) win versus hers. The media are in a quandary now and it will get deliciously worse for them and the Rats. Pass the popcorn!

He’s an unapologetic socialist. But he’s honest about what he is, and he will lose in a landslide as a result.
The Dems have gone so far left that they WILL nominate a guy like that now.
It will split them all over that place.
The OWS and Social Justice Warriors will back him. The Feminists (minus the females that are more loyal to socialism that Sanders espouses) will back Hill.
Blacks and Hispanics are a wild card. They will go with whomever promises to put a minority in the VP slot.
Gays dont trust Hill. They will go with Sanders.
The establishment press will be in a civil war because so many OWS and SJWs are part of their ranks now. The older ones at the NY Times will back Hill. The BuzzFeed, HuffPo, and the bloggers will back Sanders.
I have serious doubts Hillary will still be in the race a year from now. As her numbers continue to tank and other challengers emerge she will withdraw for “health reasons”.
