Takei the uber Asian Queer says somebody else is a clown?
A guy who worked his way up to the SCOTUS against intense opposition?
Takei thinks that black people all identify with queers as an oppressed minority.
Uh, wrong.
Sounds like a Star Trek lynching to me.
Blacks off the plantation are called every name in the book.
Conservatives from the Indian tribes straying off the reservation are vilified and denied tenure at colleges.
Hispanics who don’t Hispander are called Canadians.
You’re only a “real” minority if you’re on the Left.
Isn't that, for all practical purposes, exactly what they do?
The civil rights movement was run not by orthodox Protestant pastors but by liberal Protestants to whom religion is merely an Aesop's fable that endorses and symbolizes secular morality. The Black clergy have sat out the moral culture wars from the beginning and they're still sitting them out. Sure, there was a tiny flap about last week's Supreme Court ruling just as there was a tiny flap when Obama invoked "the blood of 'gays' on the streets of San Francisco" in Selma, but it was soon forgotten. This will be too.
Ever since they became Democrats Black politicians have been uniformly radical not just on race, poverty, and "social justice," but on every single issue out there. There is not one single solitary mainstream Black politician (other than an occasional "race traitor" and "uncle tom") who doesn't toe the leftist line all across the board . . . even the most Southern, rural, and church-raised. Black politicians have one cause and one enemy that that's the way it will always be.
All it will take is another Black shot by a white cop, another Black church burnt (the only church liberals have sympathy for because they know it is a quasi-ally and not remotely a threat), and it will be right back to full on Hegelian dialectical revolution in which Blacks, Hispanics, moslems, and "gays" are one big happy oppressed family.
And you can be dang sure that they still think Obama is the greatest human being to ever live (second perhaps to their radical left wing Black J*sus) and would gladly vote for him for a third, fourth, fifth, or lifetime term.
And should (G-d forbid!) anything happen to Obama you can be he will be canonized, all his deplorable positions attributed to his Blackness, and every single position he has ever advocated will be not only canonized, but disagreement will be criminalized. And these Black ministers who were upset for five minutes will be right back in wolfpack marching in lock-step with homosexuals, atheists, moslems, evolutionists, materialists, Communists, etc.--but they will be marching out front, the flattered "ultimate victims" of white heterosexist "oppression" and they will gladly persecute and punish each and every questioner of the Obama legacy as they sing hymns of glory to him.
But oh yes. They were shocked--shocked!--that Obama mentioned "gays" in Selma.
Takei missed the whole point of Judge Thomas’s dissent and ends up going off the rails sounding like a raving lunatic.
The axiom is “it takes one to know one”
You are entirely correct in your statement until the last sentiment, where you have incorrectly named someone incorrect.
